Stories should be healthcare related and preferably about a personal experience.

Stories should be original, true and in English.

The length should be between 300-600 words (approximately
one – two double-spaced typed pages).

Stories should be written in the first-person (“I/we”) or the third-person (“he/she/they”). Do not use the second person (“you”).

Feel free to submit more than one story if you’d like.

Each submission must include the following: the author’s full name, mailing address, phone number, email address and story title.

It is preferred that submissions are sent via the website or email. Put “Caring Story” in the subject line of your email.

Mailed and faxed stories should be typed on plain white 8 ½ x 11 paper, double-spaced and use a 12-point font. Use a cover sheet for faxed stories. Reference Share Your Story.

Send only one copy of each submission.

Submissions will not be returned.

If your story is selected, it may be subject to editing.
